Terms of Service

Last updated: July 30, 2026

By creating an account or purchasing hosting from RKZ HOSTING ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies referenced below (our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy). If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

We provide shared web hosting, automatically provisioned on our infrastructure once payment is confirmed. You're responsible for the content, code, and activity on your hosting account, including anything installed, uploaded, or run through it by you or anyone using your credentials.

Backups

Keeping copies of your own files, databases, and email is on you. We run our own routine backups behind the scenes as a convenience, but if a disk dies, a server has a bad day, or anything else outside our control causes data loss, we can't be held responsible for it — please don't treat us as your only copy of anything you care about.

Account registration

You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date via your Profile page. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity that happens under your account.

Fair usage

Plans described as including a resource (storage, bandwidth, etc.) are intended for normal use by a typical small site — not as a general-purpose file server, media archive, backup destination, or public file-sharing service. We reserve the right to ask you to reduce usage, or to suspend an account, if it's consuming a disproportionate share of shared server resources (CPU, memory, I/O) in a way that affects other customers, regardless of whether a specific numeric limit has technically been reached.

Coupons and promotions

Each coupon or promotional offer may be redeemed once per customer account, unless stated otherwise. Registering multiple accounts to redeem the same offer more than once is not allowed and may result in the affected accounts being suspended without notice.

Prohibited use

You may not use your hosting account to store, distribute, or link to:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content sexualizing minors — accounts are suspended immediately and reported to the relevant authorities without prior notice.
  • Pornography or sexually explicit adult content.
  • Pirated software, copyrighted media, or torrent/file-sharing tools and trackers distributed without the rights holder's permission.
  • Malware, phishing pages, botnet infrastructure, or tools built to gain unauthorized access to other systems.
  • Unsolicited bulk email ("spam"), or infrastructure used to send it.
  • Content or activity that's illegal under Philippine law or the law of your own jurisdiction.
  • Anything whose primary purpose is to abuse, harm, harass, defame, or violate the privacy of others.

This list gives examples and isn't exhaustive — we may act against clearly abusive use even if it isn't spelled out above.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account, with or without prior notice depending on severity, for violating these Terms, non-payment, or activity that risks the stability or security of our shared infrastructure. Where the issue is minor and not urgent, we'll generally try to reach out first and give you a chance to fix it. For anything involving CSAM, active attacks on other systems, or similarly severe abuse, we act immediately.

Billing

Plans are either one-time (covering a fixed period, non-renewing) or auto-renewing (billed automatically at the interval shown at checkout via PayPal) — you choose which at checkout, and can turn off auto-renew at any time from your account without cancelling the hosting itself for the period already paid. See our Refund Policy for how refunds are handled.

Pricing

Prices shown at checkout are what you'll be charged. We try to keep listed prices accurate but may correct genuine pricing errors before an order is completed; we'll never change the price of an order you've already paid for.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is." We aim for high uptime and reliability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we're not liable for lost data, lost revenue, or other indirect damages arising from use of the service, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
